I am drawn to exploring the human figure by hand building abstract vessels in clay using loosely planned methodologies that leave room for improvisation. I follow the shapes that pull me in the moment - things I find interesting, pleasing to the eye, familiar, or uncomfortable. I create series to see the natural variation one methodology contains.
